The Huntington
Picture lush Alhambra-like manicured gardens with rushing fountains, traditional Japanese scenes with bridges and koi ponds, and formal Italian-esque lawns lined with Roman statues… The Huntington, AKA the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens is a 120-acre paradise. It’s also a collections-based educational and research institution, first established by Henry E. Huntington and wife Arabella in 1919. Go for tea in the rose garden room, see an art or rare book exhibition, or stroll the bucolic grounds.
